Job Description:

As a occupation therapist at iTalk Inc, you will be responsible for conducting therapy sessions, developing treatment plans, and providing support and guidance to clients. You will work closely with individuals and families, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches to address their unique needs and goals. The ideal candidate has a strong background in occupation therapy, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a genuine desire to empower clients on their journey towards healing and growth.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans based on their specific needs and goals.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions and techniques to facilitate clients’ growth and well-being.
  • Documenting evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes accurately and timely.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including session notes, treatment plans, and assessments.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and stay updated on the latest research and best practices in therapy.
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards in therapy practice, including maintaining client confidentiality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in occupation therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a physical therapist (PT) in the state of practice.
  • Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Bilingual is a plus!.
  • Empathy, compassion, and the ability to establish a strong therapeutic alliance with clients.
